  5. Time + is a system for the collection, processing and management of data
  6. relating to employee attendance at the place of work. It uses intelligent time
  7. clock terminals to collect and validate clockings, give messages and present
  8. optional reports.
  9. Employee clockings are recognised by reading either magnetic
  10. stripe or bar-coded clocking cards. These transactions are communicated in real
  11. time to the host computer.
  12. Time + provides extensive facilities for defining
  13. employee working patterns and pay rates. Exceptions in employees' hours are
  14. highlighted, including lateness, unapproved overtime and absence. Payable hours
  15. are calculated at various pay rates for approval and transfer to payroll.
